
Catherine Jane Ford was born on 5th December 1969. She is an English comic and actress. She has been nominated seven times for the BAFTAs and an International Emmy Award, and numerous other awards for her performance in BBC sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show (2004)-2007. Tate was Donna Noble's companion in Doctor Who's Christmas special in 2006. She later reprised the role and was later the Tenth Doctor's companion on a regular basis in the fourth season of Doctor Who in 2008. [2] Tate was the star of Joanie Taylor ("Nan") the comedy character that she played in The Catherine Tate Show (2009-2015). She also played in The Nan Movie (2022). Tate began her role as Nellie Bertram, a frequent role in The Office's U.S. version, in the year 2011. She remained in the role until the finale of the series. She portrayed the part of Miss Sarah Postern in the BBC One sitcom Big School (2013-2014) and she voiced Magica De Spell in the animated show DuckTales (2017-2021). Tate was in six roles on Hard Cell, the Netflix comedy series she co-wrote as well as co-directed.
